El Césped del Otro Lado (The Grass on The Other Side)

June 4 - July 2, 2022

Blue Sky is pleased to announce El Césped del Otro Lado (The Grass on The Other Side), an exhibition of photographs by Luis Manuel Diaz.

El Césped del Otro Lado (The Grass on The Other Side) examines the post-migration consciousness through a familial lens. Depicting fragments of everyday rituals and sights, the work highlights the multigenerational complexities caused by immigration. Simultaneously, the work is a celebration and critique of what has come from the search for the American Dream. The work is a reclamation of bodies, gaze, and history.
