May 2 - Jun 1, 2024

First Thursday Opening: May 2, 5 - 9 PM

Star Wars Day Events: Sat, May 4, 1 PM

Sol Neelman’s series Weird Sports explores the joy and community surrounding people’s love of nontraditional sports. They include surreal competitions like: Big Wheel racing, barstool skiing, log riding, lightsaber fencing, and live monster wrestling. Many of these events are more performance art than competitive sport, a celebration where a participation trophy is the ultimate medal of excellence. All weird sports aim to achieve the same goal: bring together like-minded, creative, and active humans, often in costume and usually with cheap beer in hand.

May 2 - Jun 1, 2024

First Thursday Opening: May 2, 5 - 9 PM

Artist Talk: Wed, May 15, 5:30 PM (PT)

Dylan Hausthor’s cross-disciplinary project What The Rain Might Bring explores the complexities of storytelling, faith, folklore, and the inherent queerness of the natural world. Small-town gossip, relationships to the land, the mysteries of wildlife, the drama of humanity, and the unpredictability of human spectacle inspire the stories in this series.
